Questions buyers actually ask

Frequently asked.

How is this different from overlay tools?
Overlay tools inject JavaScript that attempts to make your site accessible at runtime. Accessibility experts and auditors routinely flag overlays as ineffective (Seyfarth Shaw ADA Title III legal update). Axeazy changes the actual code in your repo: alt text, ARIA labels, form labels, language attributes, through a GitHub PR you review and merge. The fix lives in your codebase, not in a runtime widget. The FTC fined an overlay vendor $1M in January 2025 specifically for the overlay-plus-compliance-claim pattern.
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel within seven (7) days of your first subscription charge and email contact@axeazy.com, we refund that first charge in full. After the seven-day window, and for all renewal charges, purchases are non-refundable. Whatever fixes shipped to your repo are yours either way. Full terms in our Terms of Service §13.
What happens to my fixes if I cancel?
The code-level fixes (alt text, ARIA labels, lang attributes) stay. They live in your codebase. What stops: weekly monitoring scans, timestamped PDF reports, the public accessibility monitoring badge page, the GitHub App PR generation, contrast-fix approval workflow. You retain everything we already shipped to your repo. We don't roll fixes back.
I'm on Shopify (or WordPress, or a custom theme). Will this work?
Yes. The fix PRs work on any HTML: Shopify Liquid, WordPress themes, custom React apps, static sites. We ship two ways to deliver them: (1) a GitHub App that opens PRs against your repo, which is the right fit for custom themes and any code you own; (2) a Shopify Liquid app + WordPress plugin for merchants who don't want to touch code. Color-contrast fixes require your explicit approval before applying. They're the only fixes that change your visual design.
Is the GitHub App safe? What does it touch?
Per-repo scoped (you pick which repos to grant access to), auto-rotating tokens (no long-lived OAuth tokens), opens PRs only. Never pushes directly to main, never touches any branch you haven't configured. Permissions requested: Contents read+write (to open the PR), Pull Requests read+write (to title and label it). You can revoke at any time from your GitHub settings; we detect the revocation and pause fix-PR delivery without deleting the existing PR history.
Does this work for a one-page brochure site?
Yes. The Free tier covers a homepage scan. Paste your URL, get the violation count in 60 seconds, decide whether to upgrade. Starter at $29/mo handles up to 500 pages on one site, which is more than enough for a brochure or small Shopify store. Single-page sites still benefit from the timestamped Scan History Timeline on the public compliance page. The demand-letter risk isn't about page count, it's about scanner-detectable violations.

Scope of every plan

SCOPE LIMITATION: This report documents violations identified by automated WCAG 2.2 AA scanning using axe-core v4.11.0. Automated tools identify approximately 30–40% of all WCAG criteria. This report does not constitute legal advice, guarantee ADA compliance, or protect against legal action. ADA compliance is a legal determination made by courts.
